Baseball - General Information
Baseball - 2013 Season
Welcome to St. Andrews Baseball!
St. Andrews Youth Baseball is a co-ed program that is open
to boys and girls, ages 4 – 18. Our
program strives to provide a fun environment where kids of all ages can focus
on skill development, teamwork and game play.
As the age groups progress, more emphasis is placed on the development
of individual skills, competitive play and good sportsmanship.
We are a part of the North Winnipeg Minor Baseball
Association (NWMBA) and teams at all age levels will be required to travel
to Winnipeg for away games.
Registration for the 2013 baseball season will be
available on-line from March 1-31, 2013. Late registrations will
only be considered if spots are still available on one of our teams. Exceptions will be made for those players
trying out at the AAA or AA level.
The St. Andrews Baseball Program promotes principles
of Fair Play. From a program
perspective, we will do our best to ensure that:
- All children
have an equal opportunity to have fun and be a part the team;
- Winning is kept
in proper perspective; and
- Players,
parents, and coaches respect the rules, the officials, the opponents and each
other, at all times.
Baseball parents will be required to sign a Baseball
Parent Code of Conduct at the start of the season.
