Coaches

Respect in Sport

Sport Manitoba and Baseball Manitoba believe in being proactive in ensuring sport in Manitoba is safe and welcoming for all participants. Respect in Sport promotes those values through a simple and convenient on-line training course for coaches, managers and other sport leaders.

As a mandatory Sport Manitoba requirement, all coaches and managers from all sports (that means Rally Cap and higher “A”, “AA” and “AAA” baseball coach or manager) must have the “Respect in Sport” course completed by June 1, 2013, or their name will be removed from the roster.

The course is three hours in length, but can be completed at the coach's leisure, in its

entirety or in segments at their own pace. The program is available in both English

and French and is provided free of charge. To complete this course, go to the Baseball Manitoba website www.baseballmanitoba.ca or click here www.sportmanitoba.ca

Coach Certification (N.C.C.P)

Please check the NCCP website for the coaching requirements that are specific to the age and skill level of the players that you are coaching.  http://nccp.baseball.ca/

St. Andrews Youth Baseball will cover the costs associated with certifying our coaches.
